Enhanced images & video of beauty spots where major industrial complexes are located. The images address the desire for wonder & awe, for beauty, for visual gratification. They are located within a history of landscape photography & the desire for the 'ideal'. However in these works, to reach a point of satisfaction, the viewer must first deal with her knowledge of the place. The rural 'ideal' becomes a container for the industry which is both the product & the producer of that desire. Eyeshine is a term used by Australian crocodile hunters for the golden gleam of a croc's eyes when spotted by the hunter's night time torch. Beauty & terror together.
