A video projection onto the exterior of new Museum of Scotland building in Edinburgh, made in collaboration with Diane Maclean.
Museums collect artifacts & display them together with information about their provenance. 'Origin' is a reminder & a declaration of the origins of the stone from which the building is constructed. The work reveals the relationship between the land & the man-made structure through image & colour, not through narrative or a demonstration of process.
